What does this meme mean?

Label the buttons with conflicting choices and identify the person who wants both. The hesitation makes a simple dilemma feel dramatic.

Where it comes from

Animator Jake Clark published the original two-button comic on Tumblr in October 2014. Replacing the button labels turned it into a recurring decision-making format.

Make your own version

  1. Write two short choices that clash for the same person.
  2. Place one label above each button and a role label near the sweating character.
  3. For a slideshow, reveal the buttons first and the panicked reaction second.
