What does this meme mean?
Build a sensible setup across the first panels, then repeat the disastrous final step beside the confused reaction. The repetition is the format's punchline.
Where it comes from
The presentation scene comes from Despicable Me, released in 2010. Edited presentation panels developed into the recognizable failed-plan meme in 2018.
Sources reviewed 2026-10-03. Classic classification describes its history, not current platform popularity.
