What does this meme mean?

Give Robin a familiar misconception and Batman an exaggerated rebuttal. The speech-bubble exchange works as fictional comic timing.

Where it comes from

The panel comes from the 1965 comic World's Finest #153, set in an alternate reality. Later edits replaced the speech bubbles and established the interruption format online.

Make your own version

  1. Put a brief mistaken claim in Robin's speech bubble.
  2. Write a much shorter correction in Batman's speech bubble.
  3. Check the comic's reading order and keep both bubbles large enough for a phone.

Original caption starter

Robin: I'll remember without writing it down. Batman: Write it down!
