What does this meme mean?
Separate the evidence from the fantasy. Show a small, ordinary cue and then cut to an extravagant imagined scenario, so the joke lands through the gap between the two.
Where it comes from
Delulu is documented in K-pop forum usage in 2014. By late 2022, TikTok creators were using it beyond fandom for exaggerated romantic assumptions and other self-aware fantasies.

Make your own version
- Label the real evidence in a short opening shot, such as a generic notification.
- Cut sharply to your exaggerated prediction with a distinct outfit, setting or text style.
- Finish by returning to the original tiny cue so viewers can compare reality with the fantasy.
